Mr. Jones received his associate's degree from Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois. His bachelor's degree is from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, and his juris doctorate from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign, completing school in 1991.

Mr. Jones concentrates his practice in the areas of Civil Litigation, election law, criminal law, government regulation and legislative affairs.

Past & Present Organizations, Interests, & Activities: 
Mr. Jones' previously worked for the legal counsel's office for the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign; the child support, civil and felony divisions of the Peoria County State's Attorney's Office; the legal counsel for the Illinois Senate majority staff; and the Chicago law firm of Sidley & Austin, as a contract lobbyist, prior to joining Johnson, Bunce & Noble, P.C.

Mr. Jones has served on the Boards of several community groups including: the Pediatric Resource Center, the Center for the Prevention of Abuse, the Family Violence Coordinating Council, Peoria Chamber of Commerce Business Advisory Committee, and is the Vice President of the Care & Treatment Board.
